COLUMBUS, OHIO: The National Quilting Association is holding their 40th Annual Convention in downtown Columbus June 18 – 20, 2009 at the Columbus Convention Center. The show will feature 400 judged quilts, special exhibits, vendors and classes galore.
Since this is the 40th Anniversary, quilters were asked to share specially created “red & white” quilts to emphasize the symbol for the 40th Anniversary (the RUBY). These quilts will also be on display in the exhibit hall.
Also on display are the winners of the juried quilt show that passed the critical eyes of 3 National Quilt Association Certified Judges. A total of 400 submitted quilts are anticipated to be on display in the juried show.
