The Labor Day Arts Festival has been called the "best one day show" around. Kids and pets are welcome. Each year the exhibitors are juried and awarded prizes. Just being accepted to participate in the Upper Arlington Arts Festival is an achievement. Each exhibitor goes through a rigorous jury process to become one of the 200 artists from across the country. The jury process takes place in March, when the jurors preview 3 images of the artist's existing work as well as an image of their display booth. Each submission is judged and given a rating from 1 - 7 with 7 being the best. Each submission is then given a score that is then compared with the rest of the submissions for their category.
