Vermilion's Festival of Fish

Every year the City of Vermilion celebrates the sea on a grand scale with parades, boat parades, races, pageants, contests, food, entertainment, markets and much more.

The Festival of Fish is an outdoor marketplace with wares, leather goods, wood products, handmade unique items, and clothing. Also, attractions such as a fishing and sandcastle contest, kids games, dusk-lit boat parade on the Vermilion River, various bands, food, crafts, parade and a ride on the Mystic Belle Paddlewheel Boat. And, of course, that great Lake Erie perch, cooked fresh as you wait. On Saturday evening, there is a lighted boat parade on Vermilion River

Honoring Father's Day

What weekend could be more appropriate to honor fishing than Father's Day.

Every year since its inception, the Festival of Fish has been held on the Father's Day weekend.
