Mission

The purpose of Touring-Ohio.com is to present a personal view of our Ohio so that visitors to the state and citizens of the state, might better appreciate the qualities of our state along with the rich heritage that was responsible for making Ohio what it is today— a thriving geographic area that is the heart of America.

Many of the photographs used in this web site were created by the editors. In several instances we have used historic images to better explain how places and things looked in years gone by.

This web site was first published in August 2007 and while it may never be fully completed, our goal is to continually add Ohio related articles and stories on a continuing basis as time permits.

Photographic usage and permissions

The editors of Touring-Ohio grant permission to reproduce the color images found on this web site for personal use, and for illustrative purposes on other web sites as long as the photographs are not altered, and credit is given to Touring-Ohio.com along with a link to the original page were the image was found.

Historic images are all represented in a sepia format and these do not belong to this web site and we therefore cannot grant any permissions as to their usage.

The content is based on publicly available information and articles as well as personal experiences, interviews, and submissions by contributing editors. We believe to the best of our knowledge, that all content is original.
