Auglaize County Ohio
Auglaize County is located just southwest of Toledo, Ohio and occupies the ridge of land that divides the state between the Ohio River and Lake Erie.
The city of Wapakoneta was named for an Indian Chief and stands for the site of an old Shawnee settlement. In earlier days, the city was known for its wooden toys and furniture. Today it is noted as being the home of Neil Armstrong, the first man on the moon.
