Butterfly House in Whitehouse

See hundreds of live butterflies from North America, Central America and Asia in a beautiful indoor garden. The facility was built with the idea of developing beautiful gardens in a controlled environment to exhibit butterflies to the general public.

Butterfly

Butterfly House gives an opportunity to learn about the butterfly's life cycle and how to promote a healthy environment for these special insects.

Live butterflies flutter from flower to flower feeding on the nectar. They search for their mates, dance and bask in the warm sunshine, with an average life span of just 2-3 weeks. Throughout the season over 100 different species will be released giving visitors unique visits during the season.

Throughout the season, the Butterfly House sponsors many events including a monarch egg hunt on the grounds and a popular monarch release program in September.
