Akron Police Museum
The Akron Police Museum is locted in the Harold K. Stubbs Justice Center and features historical photos, uniforms and weapons. Also on display are the keys to the original 1890 Akron Police jail, and a 1965 Harley-Davidson police motorcycle.
This museum chronicles the history and development of the Akron Police Department from its earliest days to the present; exhibits include patches, badges, log books, news clippings, confiscated weapons, and an assortment of police equipment.
Admission is free and suitable for all ages.
Outside the building, see the police memorial wall honoring officers who have given their lives in the performance of their duty.
