First Night Columbus
Celebrate the New Year in downtown Columbus with this annual, alcohol free community oriented celebration. With the purchase of a ticket, you can see entertainers and art exhibitions at a number of different downtown venues all within walking distance.
The festivities begin in late afternoon on December 31 and run until about 11:30 p.m. Trolleys provide free transport from one end to the other.
First Night Columbus is part of a nationwide network of over 200 similar celebrations that bring pride and unity to the community while providing a safe way to celebrate the new year.

First Night Columbus began in the mid 90's and has been a regular holiday event ever since.
Because most of the venues are indoors, the event is held regardeless of weather.
